As our penultimate "Play" section activity, please take this short survey from Pink's "Step on the Humor Scale" assignment in AWNM, pg 211. Post your score in the comments section below for an attendance grade for today, even though we don't have class. And be sure to say whether not you think your results are accurate. When you read the score details, there're some interesting insights into how we use humor to deflect criticism, deal with stress, and otherwise get things done.
Well, I took the test and my score was a 47 all together. 8-for creativity and performance, 12-for copeing, 12- for facilitation, 15-for appreciation. I disagree with the creativity score. I guess it really all depends on if you are a jokester or not. bascally it all depends on what type of joke or whom it could be about to tell if it's funny or not, some things is really not that funny.
ReplyDeleteMy score was 48, for the most part I find it accurate. I use humor every now and then but I know I could let myself go a little more often than I do.
ReplyDeleteMy score was 64 perfect. I will do my best to make anyone happy even in the worst cituation. I Always put God first and everyone else second.

ReplyDeleteMy total score was 52 with coping being my highest score at 16 and facilitation the lowest at 10. I think the test is really a personal view of how one sees his or her creativity and performance, coping, facilitation, and appreciation. So, I think that it's not completely accurate, because of the results are self-reflective.

Your Creativity and Performance Score : 6. I do tend to be closed to everyone.
Your Coping Score : 3, The lowest thing I even saw was 4-7.
Your Facilitation Score : 7, and Your Appreciation Score : 5
I don't look on the bright side, but I don't think there is a brightside.
My total score was 55. Facilitation and appreciation were my highest scores at 15 a piece and my lowest was creativity and performance at 12.

ReplyDeleteMy score was 51. I enjoy good jokes. Sometimes I can think of B.S. of the top, but can never really think of any jokes.
